Credit Suisse is rolling out a new platform called "My Desk," which aims to make the bank's trading and research services more accessible for clients. The platform, which is available on desktop and mobile devices, allows clients to view real-time market data and research reports, as well as execute trades and manage their portfolios.
My Desk also includes a chat function, which enables clients to communicate directly with Credit Suisse's traders and research analysts. The platform will initially be available to the bank's wealth management clients in Switzerland, with plans to expand it to other regions and client segments in the future.
Credit Suisse hopes that My Desk will help it to better compete with other banks that have invested heavily in digital platforms, such as Goldman Sachs' Marquee and JPMorgan's Athena. The bank has recently faced criticism from some clients for its lack of investment in digital services, and My Desk is seen as a step towards addressing these concerns.
